Chicago Cemetery - 2

This had once been a tall obelisk grave marker, but had been broken in half by the elements or other forces. Someone had placed a small angel statue atop the bottom half of the obelisk & leaned the top half against the tree. Its beauty spoke to me of the impermanence of life, & even death.
